Ristone Holdings proves that in the most difficult conditions that our country is currently experiencing, the livestock industry can not only survive, but also increase the number of livestock and, just like in previous years, be economically profitable. The year 2022 is ending with profitability indicators of more than 30%, using the example of “Agrofirma im. Gorky”. And these are the same figures as last year.

– Continuing the project of keeping the livestock of cows and heifers, improving their comfort and expanding the places of keeping (this increases the number of dairy cows in the herd), a new area for keeping 200 heads was built. livestock, and this winter we will completely fill it. And when we build a housing for the expansion of the dairy herd, this is the next stage of our project, we will transfer the breeding stock to this site – for sale in Ukraine, since everything bad will eventually end and the need for breeding stock will be very relevant.

– Summing up the preliminary results of 2022, we can say with confidence that this project was not launched in vain. If we ended 2020 with profitability indicators at the level of 10-15%, and in 2021 we talked about a result 2 times higher – 20-30%, then we end 2022, the most difficult year in the history of Ukraine, with a result of more than 30% .

– Also this year we managed to increase the livestock of the entire herd by 40% and now there are 800 cows, and highly productive cows with a milk yield of more than 35 kg per day – 15-20% in this herd.

In 2022, we will get a slight minus in terms of cattle productivity, we are a little short of 9000 kg. milk per head, but this is a slight decrease that did not affect the economic results and is primarily due to the deterioration in feed supplies in the first three months of the start of the war.

Success in this difficult task became possible only thanks to the well-coordinated work of the farm team. People who, despite everything, continue to work, working for results.
