“Ristone Holdings” became the winner of open tenders conducted by the State Property Fund for the privatization of the Kosar distillery of the state-owned enterprise “Ukrspirt”.
During the auction, the price of the object increased more than three times from the starting price: from UAH 49.42 million. up to UAH 162.0 million (without VAT). This became a record sale price among the facilities of the State Enterprise “Ukrspirt”.
Despite the ongoing aggression of the neighboring state, “Ristone Holdings” transferred almost 200 million hryvnias and provided record revenues to the state budget from privatization in the relevant industry. The company is sure that these funds will be a significant support of the State Budget of Ukraine and will meet the needs of both the social sphere and the Ministry of Defense.
It is worth noting that the corporate strategy of “Ristone Holdings” and further development plans envisage investments in the company in the amount of about UAH 130 million over the coming years. The main directions are the development of production technology, the introduction of modern innovative industry solutions, infrastructure improvement, increasing the level of autonomy and reducing energy consumption in accordance with today’s requirements.
The company plans to involve leading experts in this field in production activities at the enterprise.
Historical reference: founded in 1872, in 1937-38 the capacity of the plant was up to 1,200 deciliters of alcohol. Subsequent reconstructions increased the capacity to 4,000 deciliters. In 1991, in addition to the production of alcohol, the production of vodka drinks was introduced at the plant. The production of alcohol from grain, and since 2011, the enterprise has been part of the state enterprise “Ukrspirt”, included in the state program of industry reform.
The closest of the priority tasks is the restoration of business processes at the enterprise, the provision of work, social guarantees for employees and their families, and, of course, extremely important substantial budgetary assistance to our State in order to bring Victory closer as soon as possible.
